Em is so lucky! There's a family in our home ward that is from Tokyo! They've been helping her prepare for her mission. They moved to Carlsbad from Tokyo just last year. Sis. Oga has a degree in linguistics and has been helping Em a few times each week to study the language. The entire family ( Bro. Toshi, Sis. Emi, Sakiko,Misa and Chisako) came over to our house for dinner last Sunday night. They're really great people.
