Too busy to write much....Japan Week # 4

The email we received from Emily this week ( Jan 14) was very brief; she only had ten minutes to write! But she sounds happy and busy:

I've got to go really fast. We have a zone p-day today and we are all meeting at 11 to play basketball. Long story short, I have 10 minutes to write.
I just bought an electronic dictionary. Yeah! It was 100 plus us dollars. i like it cause it has j-e, e-j-, and e-e.cause later in the mission you star tto forget English. My companion says I'm getting to the point where I don't speak anything. I'm forgetting English but I don't really know Japanese yet.

I got a letter from Mrs. Bastien yesterday. That was pretty awesome! I like to hear about what's going on at home.

Did you know that the Japanese cherry blossoms actually have no real smell to them so the smell they market it a made up thing? My comp heard that from a Japanese person. Weird!
Yesterday I helped with the map to get where we needed to go. It was pretty fun! I think I've told you about their system before.

i received the two pair of tights, toe heaters and the letters. thanks! it gets cold here and my toes get super cold as i said before! and, now i put the heater packs on the bottoms of my feet and that helps a lot. its funny you sent those. we have a lot of them in our apartment. a lot of them are to big for my feet though. when you sent me them in the mail i officially thought it would be a good idea to put them in my shoes!

transfers are at the end of the month; i am staying because miku shimai is leaving...to go home!

my bike is very good. the company is called giant. i think i said before. the gears are heavenly. there are lots of hills here. funny, before the mission they would have freaked me out but my legs are getting tough, all muscle.

you asked what i do for exercise. it's totally freezing in the morning. i usually stretch and do sit ups. now i shower at 630 and then exercise so my body is warm before i stretch. im trying to get in the schedule of using the stretch bands as weight resistance.
